Hey wassup everyone i jus picked up a 96 TL and i was wondering what is there out there for this car and what can i do to it? is there any kind of recalls specific problems common problems stuff like that.

 

Watch out for the D4 light. It will most likely go out. The dealer replaced that before they sold it to me (many people had this problem). As far as body kits etc...there isn't anything really for the 1st gen TL's. I don't know about other mods since mine is bone stock.

I'm not sure what kind of bulb it is. When I don't know, I usually go to the parts counter at the dealership and ask them. If it's cheap, I get it from there, but if not, I go somewhere else (and then I know what it is I need).

 

guess I'll just pull the cluster tonight and find out....

 

it should be a 74 indicator bulb

 

anyone do anything with audio? i have plans or this car and haven't taken apart a TL yet and was wondering if there is anything that i should watch out for while doing audio on this car?

 

the only problems i can think of while doing audio is make sure your speakers fit...unless your making custom kick pods.

 

nah probably not gonna do kick panels i kinda like the way the stock setup is jus trying to change out all of the speakers and add a sub and amp
