Just wanted to intro myself... Just picked up my '97 3.2, and I'm loving it! Got it for $18,5 CDN. 107,000km on it. All scheduled maintenance was done regularily and it was never serviced for anything else. I was told there are two recalls pending which I'll be checking into this week. Everyone thinks it's brand-new. I'm pretty happy, though there is a problem with the alarm (it goes off without provocation). The dealer said they would fix it, no charge.

My Ex-GF's father got a '99 TL when they came out (traded it for an MDX this year), but I think the Gen 1's are nicer looking (more like the RL's).

or you can buy a chrome license plate with the acura symbol on it.

 

you can get plastic tabs for the lisence plate holes. i got two tabs from the dealer when i bought the car, surprisingly they were in the cup holders. welcome to the TL family =)
