new subs, new rattle. possibly speakers?

i recently got 2 10" MTX subs for my 98 2.5 and after a while (listening to the speakers at the same volume i always have) i noticed a rattling coming from what seems to be my front left speaker. i highly doubt that it is blown considering ive moved all the power to that speaker and it sounds ok and everything. is it possible that there are screws loose from the extra bass from the subs and if so whats the easiest way to fix this? something else that is commonly known to rattle that i am mistaking for being the speaker? something else?

I would think your sub make those "new" rattling sound. But again, it could be your speakers, it doesn't hurt to check.

well what's the easiest way to do this? i tried popping the fabric thing off covering the speakers but it wouldnt come all the way off and i was afraid of breaking something. my bro said alot of the time you have to pop the entire door off to make sure you dont break anything.

you have to take the entire door panel off. behind lever where u open the door theres a little plastic notch tha u can pry open with a flat head screwdriver or a knife. it covers up a phillips screw which u have to remove. then u have to take off another screw that is situated where the window controls are. if u look in the part that sinks into a little valley (sorry cant think of any other way to describe it right now) theres anotehr notch pry open and remove screw. once this is done grab the bottom of the door panel, you should feel an opening wide enough to put your hand in. pull toeards you to release the tabs. they will release and then u will want to gently push it up to unhook it per say from the top. before u try to completely yank off, unhook all electrical wires attached to locking mechanism, window controls and light at bottom. good luck
