New Owner of 1997 3.2 TL
Hi guys,
It is used with 94K. Drives nice, but need some help getting it hooked up.
The CD Player has only worked twice since I got it. Now everytime, with every CD I receive CPD-E0. Which I assume is an error code, because it will not play CD.
So can it be fixed or should like for an upgrade to the Stereo.
What would you recommend. Do they make units that fill up the whole area, or do I get a head unit with a hole in my dash.
Any suggestions!

Unfortunately our CD players are either hit or miss affairs. Mine works but most havent been so lucky.
Metra makes a dash kit for 15 to 20 bucks that will fit in the space so you can get a CD player. Check around here for what we've installed

Do you guys still get this error when you use the stock CD changer? That's weird, I've used so many different burnt CDs...even some from a long time ago and they all work. Well, some skips because of the scratches, but they do play. Even the head unit takes them.

I get the same problem whether the Cd is bruned or purchased. I have attempted using the head cleaner for the lense. No help. Every now and then I may get a Cd to play, but if I take it out and put the same cd back in. I t will give me the error again. The same CD that just played 5 seconds, won't play after it is ejected or the car is turned off.
I wonder if my CD player is made by microsoft? :

anyways... welcome to the board...
Pull out the Stock HU... and put in something better... Some members put in a carputer... most of us have single din with the instal kit... and i think i've seen someone with a DD in there...
But that's my advice... pull the Stocker out and store it in a closet...
