So this morning I get my car and fire her up, pull out of the drive way and get on the road and my ABS & TCS dash lights come on.... Now the button for the TCS is always off and the ABS light has never come on before..... I hoping this isn't an electrical issue, but fearing that it is... Has anyone had this happen, and I haven't done anything to the car prior to this issue.. Thanks in advance...

 

Weak battery or alternator can cause this, but you'd have the charging indicator lit if it was the alternator. Try testing a different battery to see if that makes it go away. If it doesn't, then maybe an ABS sensor is damaged.

yes, i had the abs ..now it finally gone it was the dam battery causing the abs ..."ignition voltage"

if u go under ur passenger side and you will find a blue clip, you want to get a paper clip and make a U shape of it and put it in the blue clip. then u want to turn on your car to ON and look at the ABS light and see how many flashes it makes.

 

Where on the passenger side? In the car under the dash or under the hood?? And so what do I do if it blinks? I would think that is throwing a code but how do I interpret it??

 

under the dash ..passenger side. it blinks , first codes will be long codes then the 2nd codes will be short codes so you will be counting them like 6-1 it will be 6 long blink and 1 short blink
