New 3.2TL Owner here...
Just picked up a 1996 Acura 3.2TL with only 63k miles.... SUPER clean, the owner had receipts dating back almost to when the car was purchased, I even found numerous $100+ detailing receipts. All I can say is wow, this car is amazing, drives very smooth.
Few questions:
1) Im used to 1, 2, then D... Whats better to drive around with on the TL? D3 or D4? I do alot of city driving, but will usually see 50+mph daily. I dont want to switch between the 2 frequently.
2) I notice a very light grinding when im going from 1mph-5mph, I dont hear anything, I can just feel something, but once I keep going it goes away right away. Any thoughts?
I'll get some pictures up this weekend, until then, im going to enjoy my new car!

d4 is for daily driving. d3 is like an "overdrive" which should be used when going up hill, towing another car, or trying to get your car out of mud or something??
as for your grinding.. ive never heard of this but could it be the brakes? do you have any receipt for the brake pad replacement?

Yeah, I was reading through the owners manual, D4 is best. Also, that grinding noise has kinda gone away, so no problems. But damn, I love this car, very sporty yet VERY luxurious.
Im looking to replace the headlight bulbs, need something brighter, anyone reccomend those H4 Hid simulation upgrade kits for like $90?? Its soposed to upgrade the harness and bulbs to 100/110 watts or something, and its only available for H4 setups.

never heard of the simulation upgrade kits. But I might be interested as well. I have H4 bulbs in mine that are diff color. Looks pretty tight. Normal HIDs are really pricey.
