Need Help On Installing Door Speakers..

I got a pair of MA Audio c6 components speakers for my front doors that I wanted to install..So I removed my driver side door and removed the previous speaker that was on the door also, and as soon I try to mount the speaker, it doesn't go in flush all the way..Im talking about maybe 1-1 1/2" of space left in back of the speaker because there's an metal bar inside the door that's in the way..Anyway around that I can get these on my door? Please Help me out

The metal bar is the guide for your window(not sure exactly how it's called). So you can't really cut it or anything. I believe that you'd need some spacers. You could look for MDF spacers, and try to install it again. However, I'm not sure how much clearance there is between the door and the door panel, so you have to do some calculations and see if you have enough space.

yes you will need spacers. I didn't have that prob with my aftermarket door speakers but that is b/c they were cheap pioneers and the magnets weren't as thick. However, I did have to take out the white plastic housing for it to fit.
