Need help with driver side headlight

Hey guys i have a problem with my light, My light went out and i went to go get a new light bulb and that didnt even turn on, it only turns on with my hi beams on, also i notice when i turn my high beams on the passenger light goes dim and my driver side light is on hi beam but when i turn off the high beam the passenger light is normal but the driver side light is off. Not even the fog lights turn on and they are new lights. What could be the problem? thanks guys

A failing dimmer relay might cause this problem. Also putting wrong headlight bulb in or not fully seating might cause some funny problems.

A failing combination switch might cause the fog lights not to come on, but hard to see how this could produce the alternate bright/dim headlight combinations.

good luck

Clean the plug. It should be a bad ground.

~Cheers~
