Don't listen to these fools -- go ahead and cut your stock springs. You'll save tons of money and your ride will be sweeter than anyone else's! I recommend using a good hacksaw or blow torch. Just eyeball them too -- it isn't too critical where you cut them.

yo dbox,
don't cut the stock springs..
see the stock springs are really soft, meaning if you cut the springs to lower them 2 inches, the springs are still really soft so it'll bounce a lot and hit your 19's..
where if you get the eibachs, they are a bit stiffer than stock so they won't jump up as much...
and trust me the eibach drop looks perfect.. any lower and the tires will tuck into the fender..

If you spent all that money for 19s then you might as well lay out $300 to lower your car. Cutting the springs is bogus.

If you want to go lower then go and don't want to spend that much money go get a set of ground control coilovers. i think they run right around $299. If you have the money and want a nice drop get the Apex'i coilovers.

i think it would be better if you either got the ground controls, apexi full coilovers, or even got the eibach springs and cut the top one or two coils
the eibach drop is perfect in my opinion, although a non-suspecting bystander might not notice the difference (although they don't notice 2.5" drops either)

the ground controls aren't sold by tim.. at least not that i can see
try this site: http://www.nipponpower.com/suspensio.../gc_acura.html
