Yow, Thanks bro. I know i'm gonna need the help too. 1st thing i have to address my idling problem. I've been doing research on it and currently tackling it. I just put a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in it and filled the tank with premium fuel. So let's see if that will solve it

If not use sea foam. its very effective. Mowe than just fuel injector cleaner. If you've never used it i have a good diy vid on accord v6. May I ask what exactly it is doing?

The idling problem is most felt when the engine is cold. when i'm at a stoplight the car revs up and down about 200 rpm continuosly. it feels like the car wants to take off, but my foot on the brake is holding it back.

I heard that seafoam was one option
also heard about cleaning the IACV.
Read about cleaning the throttle body

But that's all i read is recommendations, but not many people post successfully solving the problem with either options.

That's EXACTLY what you need. A new IACV. It happens over time to every Honda/Acura at different times. I've never heard of cleaning it. I've always been told to replace it but I guess it's worth a try.

I will be tackling the IACV on saturday. And the tranny has too much fluid in it. I'm gonna have drain some out on saturday. Gonna search for the diy for both tasks

I'd just go buy a new IACV. Never heard of cleaning one because they are very sensitive.

I had cleaned the one on my 95 civic a few years back and it worked. But to solve this problem I'm gonna get a new IACV. Thanks for the input everyone
