The middle of my muffler came apart. Any ideas out there how much it will cost to put back together? I think it just needs to be welded.

I have a 96 3.2. I had the ebtire muffler assembly replaced (ncluding the pipe leading into the muffler) for $285 at an aftermarket place. I backed into 18" high brick wall & it bent the pipe & cracked holes in it where it had rusted.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping it wont be so costly. The resonator detached from the connecting pipe. I hope it can just be welded back together.
