Mudguards on our TL?

Any of you guys have rear mud guards/splash guards? My bodyshop guy gave me a pair of rear splash guards from a CL-S and my car does not have mounting points for them. I tried it on without attaching it and it appears to fit, I would just need to mod it somehow. What do you guys think? Should I bother? It would look pretty cool since the front wheels have a small splash guard, and with the runner, the rear splash guard should compliment it.

Here's what the splash guards look like. Took it from the CL photo gallery.

I have mudguards on mine. They arent even really noticeable (thanks to the black exterior) but I dont have any problem with mudguards as long as they arent long and hanging really low.

I have mudguards on mine too. They're really small and don't hang down. I'd even say they look good. These are the Acura ones. My car came with them.

To me, they add class.

Take a look at this RL, the standard mudflaps are about the same on the 1st gen TL

Looks cool being painted to the body color. I'll see if I can get it on without drilling holes in my car. There is a mounting point on the bumper, but it's not aligned with the CL one. I'll try and do it during my lunch break.

tried fitting the splash guards during my lunch break. I don't think it's gonna work. There are three holes in the guard, and only one mounting point on the TL (from what I can see). Plus, the guards do not go up that high to reach the mounting point. You guys think heavy duty double sided tape is gonna hold it up?

the tape may hold it but i doubt it will be for long, water, grease and anythin else on the street will most def come into contact with it since its so low to the ground so consider that

well i guess compared to the wheels on your 3.2 (if they're the same as what you got in your avatar) then i guess the RLs look better

The 2.5 has almost the same rims, except 15" and not "angled" like the 3.2. The RL's rims are much more stately.

I wish I had a set on the rear, I don't, and it is definately the dirtiest part of the car, the rear bumper. Something very similar to the front ones would be nice, maybe after I have some extra money again...
