Mods For The 96 TL

I own a 96 2.5 TL and was wonder what mods I could add to max performance. Could you guys list a couple parts I could install? eg. CAI, Filter, Exhaust, ECU upgrade., Supercharger, etc. Anything to make it faster.

your out of luck bro.. the 1st gen TL's have no "under the hood" goodies except air intakes/air filters. i believe weapon r is one brand that carries it for our cars. other than that, no other goodies are made for performance...at least not yet. you can maybe custom make your headers or something..

there are actually things you CAN do, it's just a matter of how much you're willing to pay for it. the cheapest woudl probably be NOS, which is about 500 bucks. you can also get a custom mad turbo but that will run you about 4 thousand. it's true that there aren't that many bolt ons for our cars, but as long as you have the money and the knowledge of how the engine works, i'm sure you can milk a couple more hp out of the engine.

There are exhaust you can get and ECU upgrades, but i heard the ECU upgrade doesn't do much cause Acura did a pretty good job already.

you could up your ignition (MSD), change your plugs Bosch Plat+4. exhaust, intake/filter. custom headers. not many off-the-shelf goodies for our cars, which may be better....aloha.....

there are three kits out there for our cars. Mugen, Value sports, and Skipper. you can also lower the car, which is a must in my opinion. get some rims. exhaust. tints. HID conversions. and NEVER put stickers on your car.
