Post may trade in TL , for 97 E320

Not sure yet. A little over a week ago, my mom traded in her 96 LS400 for a 99 S-420, the ol' big big body Benz. The car is unreal. I have always liked Mercedes, but now that one is in my family I really am starting to like them. I drove it on Saturday, and I must say, even though it it big as shi#t, and often bellies its weight, the car is a dream to drive, come on now double paned glass (the outside world is non exsistent!), the burble of a German V8, with 275hp, and torque in the 290's!, too weigh over a ton or two, you would not believe how it gets up.....
Her salesman must have saw me get out of my car, because he immediately asked me how long had I had that Acura. I told him a little over a year, but I had very high miles. He was like ok, but I see you in that E-class over there, I was like ofcourse you do, **** I see myself in that "01 CL500, stickered at 92 grand, so what else is new. I was like man I can not get out of this car, plus I love it. He was like I think you can and you would love a Mercedes more.
He gave me the keys to a silver on black, 97 E-320, with like 44,000 miles. I forgot what they were asking, but he claimed he could let it go in the mid to high 20's,it wasnice, So I took it out on a drive, bad mistake!, the E-class has kick, I always thought that a stock Mercedes was stodgy and heavy, yes all true, but please do not test one, rarely do Mercedes drivers wanna race, but I would not even see the E-class. The torque in the car is ridiculous, and ofcourse I was picturing lowering springs and rims....
So I was like ok man what we talkin, He basiacally said I would have to cough up about an extra 175 a month. I was like nah man, I'm 23 and thas jus too crazy of a car note! I mean I could do it but why right now?
So now the guy has me seeing three point stars when I day dream....I really am thinking about it, but I love my Acura, and I jus cannot part so abruptly. What you guys think? Would you? Part of me, is thinking I should jus chill for now, and get the E-420, with the V8 stuffed under the hood from the S-class...

Dude... extra $175 a month, for the privilege of becoming a Benz owner, DO IT. Your Acura got high miles right? If my credit were good, I'd trade my high mileage TL in a second. Ask yourself this question: Which car will get me more booty......hmm?

yes true oh so true, but hey the TL, holds it down, lets not be to hard on her.......i dunno im also frightened about any possible mercedes benz service visits, i hear they can body slam a wallet if not prepared, you can always get the car, but can you up keep it? im not sure of that right now, i dunno though, i have two people interestedin buying my car. this girl says she will give me 10 grand for it, i owe 13 i think, my car has 96, 000 miles so 10 grand is actually kinda good......

Thumbs up Yo Jay Here Is Your Plan...

Buy the Benz... 44,000 compared to 90,000+ is a good deal. The service on a benz oil changes and stuff will be about mabey a 20$ difference compared to the TL... Also ask the dealer of he wants your TL stock and the sell the parts off your TL on eBay or something to get it totally stock. Use that money and make a car fund to support the new ride.. And definetly if it's a 200$ increase on payments and you have a TL 2.5 shht.. DO IT! you won't regret it!

Man you can put 20's on a benz, and lower it no problem.. AMG's, Babrus, Lorienser,ect... 245 rated tires, 5 Lug, TRUE H.I.D's, Real wood, Benz quality Leather! Man there are sooooo many options with this car.. U will love it..

But only if you can afford to do it, DO IT! Don't go into debt over anything... :
