But i dont usually dirve my TL that hard and i hadnt been driving it hard that night at all. And i just changed the oil middle of July. Can ne one tell me if there could be a big problem.

Hey there ,
This is definitely leaking radiator fluid, not burnt oil. Burnt oil smells like an oil product (like fresh pavement being laid on the street). However, radiator fluid is sweet to the taste and smell. Thats why animals are prone to drink it when people leave it outside. If you want to prove it to yourself, simply open a container of radiator fluid! In my old car (Chevy Beretta---years ago), I had a heater element go bad. This resulted in radiator fluid leaking into the cabin of the car. "Voila" a sweet smelly smell occurs. This happens because the heating elment uses hot radiator fluid to heat the element. When this element decides to expire it'll leak fluid. Obviuosly, depending on the locattion of the element it CAN leak into the car. It so happens that the element on my old car was on the firewall (under the dash). The really bad thing is that it makes carpet smell like $hit. Additionally, if this element is in an obscure area, it can be a royal beatch to replace. Otherwise, it's a piece of cake. Good luck!
