I have done my tails. I love it. Please use 4 layers only, mine went a bit darker than necessary. But I still love it. Can not even tell.

hey Mandy, how far is Marietta away from Savannah?? we should try and get a little mini GA meet going. i know Maxx T is from ATL. how many other peeps are from GA on here??

 

Did you paint just the amber part, or the whole tail light except the backup light part?

Man, I gotta paint my tails!!! But no free weekend in November and too cold until next spring! Any of you guys spay painted during the winter? Any good?

 

It will take you 30 minutes to put in the masking. Painting 3-4 layers, will take 30 minutes, 10 minute drying time per layer of thin paints. Do not spray thick.

You can paint inside the garage, put on electric heaters, as long as you are about 65 degrees, you're ok. After painting, let the heater stay on. I used the parabolic type heaters, worked well. I painted on the coldest day in Atlanta.

But beware, cold weather will screw up the paint!

You folks from ATL, GA, set it up! Savannah is quite a drive from ATL!

Don't know if you guys care too much but I prototyped my taillights in photoshop in a couple diffefent styles and was wondering what people thought.
