low idle speed causing shaking and CEL?

in park, my idle speed is low, car shakes and i can hear "puff puff puff" sound from the exhaust which usually result in an engine misfire CEL. (click on link for my idle speed)
http://http://yfrog.com/6zimag0024xj

when i turn the headlights and ac on, the idle speed increases and the shaking stops. Any idea whats happening? I've change spark plugs and wires but no improvement. How do i increase the idle speed to normal? I believe increasing the idle speed could help since i don't feel the shake when the headlight plus the ac is on(increases idle speed) See link for idle speed with ac and headlight on. I need help!!!

Have you ever cleaned the throttle body, throttle body plates, and bore?

This thread will help with cleaning the throttle body, bore and plate.

I had the same issue with the low idle and I followed this thread and it went back to normal.

Adjust your fast idle valve. A lot of times, it loosens itself and it's not surprising for the amount of miles we've all got on our cars.

~Cheers~

On my motor, it's on top of my throttle body, but on the C32, it should be on the back of the intake manifold runners, IIRC.

I bought a bottle of throttle body cleaner and removed the air intake hose. I then sprayed liberally on the plate as well as behind the plate. There wasn't much deposit on the plate. I also adjusted my fast idle which improved the shaking problem. Anyway what is the correct idle speed for the 2.5TL?

IIRC it should be between 650-750.

I thought it was 650. In any case, the JDM versions had much stricter tolerances for idle speed. The 3.2s without navi were to be set a 650 plus or minus 5, and the navi models were to be set at 620 plus or minus 5. USDM sticker says 650 plus or minus 50!

Never mind, it has to be 640 for non-navi and 620 for navi, while the timing is the same at two different RPMs!

~Cheers~
