Redeye talk to me about canadian tax. Pretty stiff? Sounds like we will have to do something about that. TLBALLER: Shipping update. For a box with 5 bumper spoilers we are looking at $700 for air shipment, not exactly what I was hoping for. However,
when I lived in Japan my wife worked for a exporting company on the docks at the Yokohama piers. She is talking with her old company trying to get a fowarder for us to use to surface ship kits from Japan to Hawaii. Once I get ahold of it shipping it to the states is cheap. I got that part all setup. This will save $$$$ but will be slower. My guess 4 to 6 weeks at least. Ask around and see what everyone wants and we will go from there.

I ordered clear-corners and Inspires from this site, and ended up paying over $200 in taxes/brokerage fees if I remember correctly. I order lots of gear from the states, and I always pay a huge amount of tax (15%) and brokerage. UPS takes a huge chunk. If you could use Canada Post as your Canadian broker it would save us lot$$$! I think they flat-charge $5 or something.

u send anything using mail, its taxed at the post office
u send anything using ups, ups taxes you on behalf of canada post
