So my m8 just picked up a 2007 Audi A4 2.0T, and was bragging about how fast it was and what not. So naturally, we had set up a time to go and see just how fast this was. These are the results:

Audi A4: 0
Inspire: 8

Yes, you read right, he wanted to race 8 times officially from a dig (not including rolls) because he couldn't believe his new turbo Audi couldn't hang withan 10 and a half year old car. One thing that did surprise me though was the exhaust system. 4 inches off the DP! Crazy for stock.

P.S. Anyone in the SF Bay Area know the blue ~2002 Mustang from Team MSG? If you do, please tell him, "nice try" both times. First time, I went from a dig and he went from a roll. Second time I gave him a car and a half from a dig. Took him both times.

what mods have you done to your car?

 

Not too much, I had decided to stop modding a couple of weeks ago, but after last night, I changed my mind again. I've also picked up the nick "Audi Killer", hehe, since two weeks ago, I went up against an Audi A6 3.0 and got him twice by a car and a half to two cars. My mod list was posted around the forums in a few places, but to sum up:

Secret Weapon short-ram converted to cold-air
Magnaflow High Flow Cat
Custom cat-back to a Magnaflow muffler

Some minor stuff includes:
Iridium IX plugs for MK4 Supra TT
Super Earthing Kit II

that '07 Audi runs the 1/4 mile in 16.38 which is about .10 slower than a 3.2 TL. it's also about 200 pounds heavier. nice runs.

 

That's weird because the average 2002-2005 A4 on drag-times runs 15's. I had posted my track time in another thread and felt bad that although I ran a 15.6, TLxRacer ran a 14.8 with half the mods. Although he had less than one tenth of the mileage at the time, hehe. Also, I've got a BHG right now, and 229,300 miles. We'll see what's up tonight, though, and see who else wants to play. I had called out this Supra but he couldn't make it.

well, I was driving with an Audi A3 once and he was going pretty fast, but I didn't expect for a TL to be faster. I guess i just didnt want to push the car to its limits.

Think HKS's Circle Earth, . A bit cheaper and the wires are of a heavier guage than my amp power wires, hehe.
