I bought a keyless entry remote for my TL. I t came in the mail today, and i cant get the stupid thing programed.
The company emailed me instructions on how to do it, but i just cant seem to do it. Its a OE style fob, with just lock and unlock.
The instructions say to point the fob at the glove box, turn the key ON, push LOCK. turn key off. turn key ON, push LOCK, turn key off. Do that cycle twice more, and the locks will cycle. then hit unlock, and they will unlock.
Each step has to be done within 4 seconds of the last.
And if you mess up, start the car, turn the key off, and remove it. then open a door, and start over.


Am i missing something?

I checked the batteries, and they are ok.

I called the local dealer, and im supposed to bring it in Wednesday...but i would much rather do it myself!
