keyless Entry

I bought a Remote of E-bay , saying it would work on my 96 2.5 tl . But after reading some posts , I asume this is not possible? How Do I kno if the car has the brain for me to use the remote?

Your car's brain is paired with the remote from the factory. Its not programmable. Your best bet is to send that thing back if possible and go aftermarket

What If i took it to a Honada or acura dealer ? or that would not help? If I got a aftermarket brain , can i use the remote then?

A Honda dealer cant help you, its a Kenwood system, only they can help you. They'd have to order a new unit and new remote and then you'd have to get it installed. Much much cheaper to get an aftermarket setup. I REALLY doubt your remote can be used with an aftermarket setup too.
