K&N Air Filters

I think someone said that K&N just started making drop in filters for the 1st gen. Does anyone know if this is true and if so what is the part #?

The part # is 33-2267. That is for the 2.5TL. 33-2089 for the 3.2. Have either of you thought of making a ram or CAI? I was searchin around for stuff on the K & N's and I found an old post on how someone made themselves a ram air intake using dryer tubing and drain pipes. He said with that and the K & N he noticed a definite increase in performance, especially at high speeds.

id rather just stick to the drop in k&n air filter and not mess with the air intake. the stock intake has that plug thats used for the o2 sensor. i wouldn't mess with the plug..

oh and k&n just made an drop in air filter for the 2.5 3.2's haven't really been made yet but i hear the one that goes into the legend fits the 3.2

I have seen several posts that there is not 3.2 tl drop in K&N filter. This is not correct. I have been to the web-site and at one time was about to buy one and had the part #. I will get that part # out. I called 5 different auto parts stores and autozone could get it in 24 hours for 42.00

yeah of course, by unpluging it but what are you going to plug it into when you change out the stock intake? wouldn't your engine light come on if the o2 sensor isn't function'ing?
