just got a 96 3.2

Any help would be appreciated!

I just bought a 96 3.2 from the original owner w/57K on it.

Acura dealer and my mechanic said I need to get the timing belt done at 6years or 60K. My 92 integra wasnt due until 80K? Whats the deal? When should I get it done?

Also, my keyless entry stopped working, bought new batteries, and its still not working? WTF?

What can I use to clean the leather? It seems to need a cleaning and conditioning?

there is usually 2 major tune ups. At 60K miles, and 90K miles. Damn you got it with low miles man. About your keyless entry, I would check the brain. Mothers makes some good cleaning for our leather.

low miles

Yeah, I was looking for this exact car for 8 months, then bam, there it was in the paper. Got it from a retired surgeon whose wife always drove him in their 4runner. I got it for a steal too. He bought a bwm330ci vert and they were raping him on trade in for the ac. He had 1 weekend to sell it or was going to trade it in - he just didnt want to deal with having a 3rd ride sitting around just to get top dollar (BTW he was rich as hell).

I couldn't be more fired up on this ride!

What the hell is the brain?

I just had my 90k service...they didn't say anything about a t-belt. If you had a 2.5TL, I'd have the t-belt and water pump done.

Timing Belt

I have 96 3.2. Also do new belts at that time. I would not go past 90,000. I am at 173,000 so its time again at 180,000.

YEAH DONT FORGET ABOUT THE OBD SYSTEM CHECK. ITS FREE FROM ACURA. THEY GIVE YOU A FREE OIL CHANGE AND WASH YOUR CAR, YOU SHOULD DO IT BEFORE 150,000 MILES.
FOR YOUR LEATHER SEATS USE LEXOL CLEANER AND CONDITIONER. THEIR THE BEST FOR OUR LEATHER SEATS
