i got my JDM black chrome headlights and learned they dont share the same side marker/parking light type of bulb/socket. the usdm's are 194 what kind are suppose to go on the JDM's?? im guessing 1156?? and where can i buy the correct socket for them.......

 

 

They are 1157. The extra filament is used as an intersection light in Japan. You could hook it up to your turn signal though so you can make the bumper light a parking light or a fog light.

 

i jus want it usdm style. so can i jus get 1156 socket connect the wires and basically have it the same as the usdm??

 

No, get the 1157, then only hook up the low side.

coo. i jus got the 1157 sockets in today and of course they didnt fit right so i had to modify them a litte bit and they fit good now. hooked up the low side and all is good. ima have to post some pics on here so stay tuned....

nope...i was thrown off a bit but its all good now. that wouldve been great if they came with the JDM stock ones though.

 

Yeah that way u could of just sodered them to the wires ur car alreayd has lol...
