I was looking at these too. And I remember someone mentioning that the lighting angle would be backwards.

ie. Ours are like this:

---------/

Wouldn't the JDM's be like this?:

\--------

Just a thought. I could very well be wrong though.

What? For real!
The headlight structure looked identical to the US version to me.
I think this auction is going to be expensive and would definately help if someone can confirm this claim.

What about the vertical and horizontal adjusters?
Will adjusting make any difference? Do you use HIDS on yours?
How about swapping the chrome Lo-beam reflector with the US version?
You tried that yet? I'll try to buy it then deal with it later once I get the actual part to see what I can do to modify it. Else I can put it back on eBay.

You just adjust it using a phillips screwdriver

Yes, I know that. I thought it was a problem where adjusting the vertical and horizontal setting doesnt fix improve it. Geez. Cool.

Adjusting those doesnt help. Yes i use HIDS. No i havnt swapped the US ones. And i dont think it worth it because it doesnt really matter. if we didnt tell you you prolly wouldnt notice really and you can adjust them to make it a littl better.

why not just take your car to a professional place where they'll paint the chrome part smoked black. it will cost wayyyy less and you still get the keep the proper beam pattern. goto www.hidtech.com they have a headlight blacking out service $75 bux.. cant go wrong wit that!!

a quote from their website...

"Smoked effect or any other desired color for your vehicle's headlamp housing (chrome area)
$75 (with our lab-tested special non-fuming, heat-tolerant, and fade-resistant professional quality paint)"
