J32A6 Swap into 96 3.2 TL
I was looking at a 96 Acura TL and there seems it has mechanical issues and 197,000 miles. So Im thinking the engine and tranny wont last long & I found a 02-03 TL Type-S engine and transmission for cheap and was wondering if anyone has a J series in theire 1st gen TL or has any knowledge or thoughts on this set up. Thanks!

It probably would not fit because the engine is positioned like a RWD in the 95-98 TLs. You might as well put in a 3.5L 1st gen RL engine going through all that trouble.
