Another questions, i was wondering, what different interior options were available on our first gen. models? With leather, what colors were available -- when shopping around i have only seen the dark beige color, like in my 98. I did hear from the dealer that he thought they offered a black interior, but i haven't seen one. Also, were there options for cloth interior?

 

I haven't seen a cloth or black interior TL yet...all Dark Leather just like mine

 

I have a 97 2.5TL base model....and i have cloth interior. There are 2 versions of the 2.5TL --> BASE and PREMIUM. I think cloth interior is standard with the base model, but I'm not sure but for a fact i know i have cloth interior! lol

oh and I have no sunroof either

 

There were 2 differnent types of interiors for the 96-98 TL 2.5/3.2. The Beige (parchment) or a Dark Gray. The dark grey was on the 98's mostly.. The 3.2 Loaded version which had sort of a Light Blue Purplish paint color the Dark grey came standard. Iv'e also seen a 98 white TL with the Dark Grey. This color interior is very rare to find in any TL because I believe it wasn't standard. But boy does it look hard w/ the burlwood on that Dr. Grey leather Also probably the rarest color combo would be the 98 3.2 Black on Dr. Grey. They had one @ my dealer in GA and it was going for 28k w/30k miles.... Wow I never saw a TL w/o leather and sunroof...

I gots a 96 but I don't have any Beige, its dark grey so I don't know...
