Does anyone know the interior color codes for our cars? I have a 98 2.5TL with the exterior color YR-509P (Granite Silver Pearl) and interior color "Type H". I looked up the shop manual and it has a list of exterior color codes with their names but no mention of interior codes. The "Model Information" section in my profile on the Acura Owner's page simply states the interior color as "Saddle". My driver's seat is in tatters and I am trying to get one in a decent from a salvage yard or eBay (I was quoted $500 to replace the sponge and leather for the driver's seat!). Most ads on eBay specify the color as Tan. One listing showed tan seats and specified the color code as "F" - those seats looked similar to the ones I have in my car. That threw me off... do they have different shades of brown/tan for interiors in our cars?

 

I believe that there are only tan and charcoal interiors. Some might look darker/lighter because they get dirty over time or the effects of sun blasting onto them throughout the years.

 

I was looking for an inside door handle cover and I came up with 4 different color codes on acura carland site for my model and year.
I went to them and parts guy asked for my vin to do an exact match.

I guess, your vin can help if you go to the dealer.

 

The sticker on my door jamb says the interior color code is Type-H. I believe the door jamb stickers on the 97 and 98 models carry the interior color code; the 95 and 96 models have only the exterior color codes on the sticker (I gathered this from the shop manual). If only I could find out what color "Type F" is!
