Ok this might sound stupid, but what is Inspire. After reading over all of the threads, I have seen the term used in everything from headlights to bodykits to names of cars, etc... Is it a manufacturer? a person? HELP!

 

Acura TL = Honda Inspire/Saber

But only for 1st and 2nd gen TLs.

The current accord is the current inspire in japan

 

acura rsx = honda integra
acura tl (3rd gen) = only us and canadian market
acura tl (1st and 2nd gen) = inspire (before 2004)
acura tsx = euro accord
honda accord = inspire 2004-2005
acura nsx = honda nsx
acura RL = honda legend.


confusing huh? lol

i know i'm missing more, with the mdx and other honda lines, but i'm not sure of those so i'll just keep my mouth shut... lol

 

a hah! I knew it had something to do with the japanese market... well thanks for the information... now i understand why people were getting all hyped about "inspire"

 

dealer told me that there is no such thing as acura in europe or oversea's acura is just some marketing scheme for the u.s.

 

Almost true.

Acura exists in the US, Canada and Hong Kong.

 

A lot of Acura newbs up in here, haha. Just kidding. Do some searching and you will find a lot of info about JDM vs USDM and aftermarket, ect.
