I got pulled over for not having my front plate on my TL!! Now my accord I've had it off for 3 years now, hehe. Thought I could get away with it with both cars, guess not. He just gave me a warning. I guess it doesn't look so bad with it. I just like it without it. Thought I would share that.

 

just leave it off if he pulls you over again then just say i need to get a bolt from acura for it

i like mine without the plate as well but we're just going to have to keep it on. unless you want to put it on the inside of your car on your dashboard facing outwards......but thats ghetto..

 

IMO i think putting tha front license plate inside tha car on tha dash attracts more attention to cops than having no license plate at all in tha front. am i right? tha cop glances at a ride and sees a big ass metal plate on tha dash or looks at a luxury car with no plate in tha front.....he gonna pull ova tha first one fo sho. most luxury cars dont even come with a front license plate. looks way cleaner without anything in tha front. if i get a ticket thats tha sacrifice i'll hafta take.

 

I totally agree guys. But if he's smart he can look at the front and go well this would take a regular screw and them I'm ****ed, it's a $180 ticket. Check this though, about 2 years ago I got pulled over in my honda which I still have but then also I didnt have the front plate on, well he warned me, and I never put it on. Months went by, and years, and I actually passed him on the streets, ( I never forget a cops face), and he never came after me. At my work we do a lot for the local police depts and he even backed in next to my car and came in but didnt say a word. I was so scared, lol. Pretty crazy huh. He must have forgot, but I doubt it. I drove my honda tonight and I'm thinking, wouldnt that be crazy if he pulls me over in my honda?!!! He'd be like WTF, you have 2 cars, and 2 cars without plates, lol. So I hope this weekend I don't see him. He was really cool, but that's all I need is for him to see me in my other car without a front plate you know. Thought I would share all of that. My TL actually doesnt look bad with the front plate on, I got a nice chrome acura frame around it, so its all good.
