I take back what I said....

I just installed my Inspire tails today and they look so hot!! I always said they werent worth spending all that money on but I take that back. :o They make the whole rear end look so much cleaner! If anyone is debating if they should get them, go for it because they're worth every penny.

I cleared it out today. How did you do yours 962.5TL? Did you open the tailight or break the plastic chamber?

tails

I almost bought them, but instead I went ahead and painted it all red in the back, which I like better.

Either one sucks. I didnt want to destroy the amber chamber because I was worried about getting little particles inside the blinker area. I tried melting it out but no good. Pain in the as* either way.

but there FIVE HUNDRED F*CKING DOLLARS! think to yourself. FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS, just for tailights that are whited out. (don't get me wrong, i would take them in a heartbeat, but i just can't convince myself to spend $500 on tailights) but still.......

you could do a lot with $500 dollars!

I paid $370 for mine, not $500. And they're not just tails that are whited out, I thought that way for a long time. They make the whole rear end look so much cleaner. You dont realize how butt as* ugly the factory tails are until you get Inspires.

so how did you get rid of the amber chamber? you took apart the tail light? is that easy or do you have to crack it open like they do with headlights of the 2nd gens to clear them out?

also, what orange reflector? is TLBaller referring to the amber chamber or a different part of the tail light? im asking cause i am considering getting them.

Yup you have to open them like the 2nd gen headlights. It was NOT easy to do. I posted instructions in another topic. TLballer means the amber chamber BTW.
