How much did you pay for your TL??????
#51
Yep, a 95. It's 95 5-Cylinder 2.5 TL. I'm not sure how many were made in 95. If I have to buy parts, I have to search for 96 parts. Acura.com is the only website that shows the 1st Gen as being made through 95-98. Acurazine doesn't even show it. This site shows 1st Gen is 96-98 which is incorrect. Moderators need to fix it.

2002 TL-S; 93k miles - $6900 from desperate seller. Added another $858 for a new 5 yr, 150k fully extended warranty. Yes...transmission failure is covered.
Had an independent inspection done, carfax report, all the I's dotted and T's crossed. Even called Acura with the VIN and it has been regularly serviced...100k service looms however. Was in for transmission recall in 2004 but they said it was for servicing and to answer the recall, not a transmission replacement, so who knows.
Car drives like a dream (knock on its wood) and I love this car. Still getting acquainted with it but considering my '89 Legend topped 220k miles before I finally sold it, I'm sensing a real value here.
Car is currently getting tinted windows along with new headlight casings and I'm also having the window sill areas stripped and repainted due to the typical Acura paint issue there. My '89 did the exact same thing...you'd think they'd pony up for some real paint.
Anyhow, sorry for the long post, just excited to finally be back in the seat of an Acura at what is a phenomenal deal...so far! From what I can tell, I saved $3k-$4k based on the prices within 500 miles of our location (autotrader, cars, ebay).

$4800 OTD with 94k, in almost perfect condition interior and exterior. Was owned by a nurse who took extremely good care of it and had all scheduled maintenance and recalls done at the dealer (I verified with acura). I caught a dealer who took it on trade and was going to wholesale it, so he cut me a great deal.

What was original cost?
$22K with about 10k miles from foreign car dealer in Rockville Maryland about 7 years ago I think. Dealer stripped driving lights off it - traded in a 2 door Integra. Originally went to him looking for a Maxima with 30K miles -- he showed be the TL Premium and it was clean. So I drove it off the lot and then owed more into the Federal Reserve System.

3.2TL - I think I paid $6K in 2005 car had about 110K without the timing belt changed.
Bought from a neighbor and it was/is squeeky clean.
It did need tires and cat back exhaust. Acura fixed the EGR check engine light (by cleaning out the passages) under the extended warranty.
All good, no complaints.
