How to clean interior?

I have all these dam marks on the ceiling of the interior of the car. Most are just dirt from peoples hands, but there is one makeup stain. How can I get these out? Should I use like a carpet cleaner? Or should I use like a shampooer? I really dont know what to do....al I know is that it is very unsightly.

make up huh buddy?? jk.. what i use to clean my ceiling is the carpet cleaner. theres one that comes in a can and at the top of the can...where you press the spray the content...there is a built in scrubber. i use that and it takes out 75% of the stains.

Use Tuff Stuff. It's a spray cleaner (like carpet cleaner), available almost everywhere (Pep Boys, Target, etc.) and it works great. It comes in a yellow, red and black spray can. Watch the use of scubing tops, they damage the headliner. Remember, the liner in a thin layer of material attached to a thin layer of foam padding.

Make up ? You dog you.

Don't use nail polish remover....that stuff will melt the plastic.

Nail polish remover? I'd be afraid to try it.

Hey you never know. Soft Scrub does miracles on leather....

Cleaner

Beleive it or not, all I ever use to get marks off the headliner and a and b pillars is a wet shammy. Scrup real hard and it has taken off any kinda mark I've had. If it doesn't work, I would recommend a spray type carpet cleaner, with a damp rag, no stiff brushes on that material, will wreck it for sure!

I used a carpet cleaner. I vacuumed it up afterwards, even though it said not to. Got pretty much all the marks off. The makeup stain still remains, but is smaller and pinkish instead of red. Thanks for the help guys!

BTW - I definitely would not try nail polish remover myself, but I would use it before I used nail polish!!! I agree, carpet cleaner, or even just water seems to do the trick...

Don't use Soft Scrub on you leather. Sure it will come clean, but it is not pH balanced for leather. A leather expert (shoes, bags, seats, etc.) told me the best stuff is Lexol. Use the cleaner first and then the conditioner.

Thats why you're supposed to use leather conditioner after the Soft Scrub.
