HID Question

I want to buy the 3000K H3 HID Conversion Kit of Ebay... This kit is to replace the fog lights and provide that awesome golden glow.

Has anyone done this... Do I need to modify the fog light housing or lens in any way? Is it worth 200 bucks? How easy is the install?

If I were you, I wouldn't spend $200-up on a light system that is yellow but rather on one thats bright white.
My friend has a 3000k hid for his Legend, and it came out looking like Piaa yellow bulb. But its your money so its up to you.

As for mods, I dont think you have to if its a size H3.
You can stick those bulbs right in.
However, you may need to splice the hid power harness to the foglight harness or get a connector at autozone.

Hmmm well I love the yellow look for the fogs that is why i would get that 3000k, so you think it will look dim though? or be less bright/same as the normal fog lights?

$200 is too much for a fog light that is yellow. And I believe i read a thread in here saying something about a conversion from h3c to h3. With another $150, you could get a whole HID projector set, or just HID Kit.

here's the link to DIY H3C conversion to H3.
