I am not sure what you mean by "rewiring" the bulbs. Here is what I did: I bought the socket for our headlight bulb from a typical auto parts store, i believe our bulb is a 9003. The replacement socket is a bit different from stock, but all you have to do is figure out which one is the ground, and the other two are power. Splice them and you should be fine. The socket is about $6-$10
As to weak power on one side, you may want to check your wires, since there are two power wires, make sure you have both connected.

oh...imean i wired them on to the bulbs like how its suppose to be.....and yeah the socket is what i need i guess...but none of the stores around me sell it...what store did you buy it from? also i am sure that the wires are hooked up right on the right side headlight that is weaker....i heard from a couple of people saying its my ground going to teh bulb but how the heck do i check if the ground wire is good or not?
