Please help me. I purchased a 1996 2.5 tl from an acution. I need my radio code. I contacted the local dealer in my area and they are unable to assit me. Please tell how I can reterive my code!!!! Also my drivers side headlight is broken. Do you know where I can purchase another headlight?

You need the serial number of the stereo. You can remove it, its on the back of the unit. This plus the registration of the car and the dealer will give you the code. The 04 TL's have a trick to get the stereo to display the code without having to remove it - I saw it done but forget the key combo that did it. I went to some random acura dealer in Sacramento with the serial and registration and I was out of there in about 2 minutes. Good luck.

check the glove the department. on the side left u probaly see or check the fuse box. sometimes it there..den you ever use the search box..there a couple been said bout it,head lights are expensive escially on ebay when people are really need of them..go for 200. the most try www.car-parts.com

 

On mine - it was under the fuse box cover. Should take you 2 seconds to check that location out for a code...

 

the CD laser is prob dead.. really common on our cars.. we will usually get a cd error... that just means the unit is basically toast..

 

either that or hes just trying to play a burnt cd
