Help finding power steering hose replacement

I need to replace #12 in the pic, part # 53731-SW5-000, which is the suction hose going from the reservoir to the pump.

I found "return hoses" on the discount auto store websites for $12 to $16, and the description tells me that those would be #14 or 16 in the diagram.

Can I use one of these in place of #12?

I can get the exact part for around $30 from Acura but it's just a regular rubber hose, not high pressure, and I want to know if I really need to get the Acura part.

Thanks fellas.

Ok I examined the hoses on the car and the suction hose that I need is definitely larger than the other two hoses going into the reservoir.

That being so, does anyone know the specs on the suction hose and if I can get it on the cheap? Thanks.

I haven't look in my engine bay yet, but you might be able to get by with a universal hose of the same inner diameter if you can route it to the pump safely. Otherwise, the dealer would be the only place to get a hose with those specific bends.

Yes the bends near the lower end are what could prevent me using a regular hose, but I think I can tie it to something to keep it away from the engine block. Plus that hose has 2 or 3 clamps along the route.

Any idea what the inside diameter is?
I guess I can just pull off the reservoir end when fluid is low and measure it.
Thanks.

I have no idea lol. Pulling it off for measurement or bringing it in to match would be your best bet.
