ok... here goes.. are you trying to take it off so you can install a cai? if so I think there is one designed for the vigor that would have all of the things you need to hook everything up to.. and the mercedes mirrors have yet to be figured out the light is to big for our housing so the housing has to be modified, 96tl tried it and to get the housing modified it was like 900 (am I right or was it 500?) so he gave up on that.. hope I answered your questions
Well, I only tried doing the mirrors with the CLK blinkers ($30 each) which were way too big for our housings. A whole new mirror body had to be fiberglassed and it would’ve costed about $900. The E-class has smaller blinkers but you have to buy the complete housing from Mercedes to get the blinkers and they cost $180.00 each. Plus you have to get them installed in your mirrors. It’ll cost you a lot of money to do that so I just gave up. Not worth spending a grand on stupid mirrors and I never really liked the aftermarket ricer mirrors. You can tell the build quality for the blinkers sucks. They look like someone just glued them on. Unless all the ones I’ve seen in person were just cheap and crappy. Good luck and let me know if you can find out anything about them. Welcome to the board BTW!
96tl.. i just found out a place that does custom mirrors.. however it is expensive... he takes M3 mirrors and take 3 LED's and milds them to the mirror... however it costs 250$ for the M3 mirrors then its extra to put in the lights... i have't seen his work yet but i think i would look nice.. i like the new pic of ur folding mirros...
