Heating Problems

I recently discovered that my heater doesnt work. The digital climate controller turns on however the fan does not push air into the cabin. Do you guys think its my blower motor? Have any of you had this problem and if so do you know what an average price would be to have it repaired, cause winter is here and I dont need to be getting frostbite while driving...LOL.

Thanks for your help.

If you feel no air movement, its the blower motor.

I would go with what you and ken said, blower motor. The link in your profile doesn't work either... should fix that first

My blower motor went a few months back. It cost me about 1100 to get it fixed. You might be able to get it done for cheaper but I was getting impatient and wanted it fixed. They said it only cost a lot because of all the little things involved in changing it. The fact that my mechanic refused to do it was a sign that it was going to be complicated. Since he has fixed every single other problem I've had. You could check the fuse it might be blown. It's one of those huge ones under the hood.

Yea that is what I figured. My mechanic took a look at it yesterday since I was there changing my oil. Turns out its the Blower Motor and the part he can get it from Acura will cost me $281 Labor he said would be about 3-4 hours at 60 bucks an hour. So we will see what happens.
