heat is cold when not driving/idle

Well when I have my heat on max or up, if im idle or stopped at a light, it goes cold! I start driving and it goes warm like it should be. Is this a thermostat problem? Thanks.

I had that problem over the winter. If the car had not been warmed up for too long, and the heat was on 90/max fan speed, I would actually watch the temperature guage begin to drop. I just figured the engine wasn't really warm enough and the cold air outside cooled it down.

Not sure about your case though.

well its fixed now!
My rad had been leaking and getting worse I guess. I ordered a koyo radiator and was sitting there for about 2 weeks now. The upper radiator hose had a leak or hole in it and spraying coolant all over! Replaced the hose and rad, everything is back to normal.

Yup, a bad radiator would do that

try to check your radiator. When the car is cold, look at the radiator overflow, Open the radiator cap and look inside the radiator. If the radiator is empty, fill with antifreeze or water, and close the cap. The overheating problem may be caused by problems. Flush the radiator if it is not empty but the water is rusty. You may need a new radiator if that does not correct the problem.
