my daytime driving lights work, when I turn the headlights on left one goes out...in high beam position left light comes back on and right light goes out???? .....any suggestions guys?

 

New bulbs. There are two filaments in each bulb. Left hi beam filament is out, and right lo beam filament is out.

Thanks Texas but I forgot to mention that I have replaced both bulbs......

 

Make sure you have the correct bulbs for your car. Check bulb filaments for continuity w/ VOM. Next check contacts in bulb connector for 12V when lights are switched on. It's possible you have a burnt damaged connector or lot's of dirt in connector.

Wiring fault is possible, but less likely.
