Having 3 oil leaks fixed. Does this sound right?

1996 2.5 162,500 miles.
Oil filter neck seal was fixed months ago-- bone dry now.

However, the car is still leaking pretty badly. I top it off every 500 or so about 3/4 quart. I smell it burning off the exhaust after a high-speed trek. I was never able to pinpoint the leaks and just dealt with it.

I needed new tires, so I brought it to the shop for tires and oil change. Asked to diagnose the leak. I got a call back and they told me that the distributor, valve cover and cam seal are all leaking.

I printed out a lot of info from the forums about the distributor, but never heard of the cam seal going bad.

Does this sound right?

I blow smoke after idling for a bit then giving it gas-- it then clears. Could the cam seal cause this?

They quoted me about $550 to fix all 3. Should I have them do another timing belt while they are in there? It has 58k on it.

Recap:
-Cam seal bad... common? Sound right?
-Blowing smoke after idling for a bit-- then it clears. Could the cam seal leak cause this?
-Should I have them do another belt?
-Any other input?

Thanks guys!

I have a 96 Acura TL 2.5 with 250,000 miles. My Distributor Cap is cracked. How much did it cost you to have it repaired? And How much time did it take?
