I'm getting close... I'm just shy of 216,000 ATM. No problems so far! Except I do smoke a little bit... Other than that, passed smog on the second try within 15 minutes with no problems, don't know why I didn't pass the first time, though.

~Cheers~

P.S. With how much I drive, I'll probably hit 300 soon. I added 8000 miles in the two months I've had this car.

Almost there, 220k right now.
Only majore problem was the cracked exhust manifold. warranty ran out due to excessive milage.
I found a good one for about $200.00 and the guy charged $225.00 to put it on.
No more problem so far. But, I hardly drive it now. I bought an accord and that's my day to day car.

Thumbs down Milage

Well I have 209,000 miles and well I've had to replace alot of things and I'm having alot of problems like replacing brakes 2 times, A/C going out, overheating, cracked manifold, poor gas milage, transmission wont go out of park, brake lights work when they want to, rear passanger window will not roll up until about 1 min after holding the switch up, passanger window will roll down but wont roll up and the it will unlock but wont lock, the keyless entry doesn't work, and the C.D. doesn't work and much more.

I have 162,000 on a 96 TL 3.2.

Biggest problem is worn valve stems, so I use Pennzoil HM 10w40, which cuts down on the smoke. This car is a greater commuter, gets 28-29 mpg. (I do 90% highway driving - 86 miles round trip every day)

I'm like a grandmother going away from the few traffic lights I encounter. Hopefully babying this car will make it last longer...

240,000 km/h is really fast. You must have a lot of mods.

Hmm, a little over a month ago, I posted that I was just shy of 216,000... Well, an update: I'm at 219,200 running GReddy GR-2, no smoke (except the smoke coming out of my mouth, hehe).

~Cheers~

My 98 3.2 is currently at 245k miles & I plan to take it for the long haul. I drive about 90 miles 5 days a week. Had major tranny failure at 150k miles. Had it rebuilt, no further problems. Have had to replace two starters. Had to replace the two inner CV joints to resolve a "thumping" sound (it worked). Windows are a bit slow, but no big problem. I am going to lube them soon as directed in another thread. Have had to replace 3 O2 sensors , one wheel speed sensor, and had to have the manifold cleaned out once ("insuff EGR flow"). Other wear/tear stuff like brakes, timing belts, water pumps, etc.

I am at 275k miles.
Car is located in Hawaii though, so getting 25k here will take me about 2 years!

I have replaced the motor, transmission, tbelt, wp, radiator, all belts, hoses, brakes, etc..
I hope to be the first to hit 300k! I'll take a pic when I do.

28-29 mpg???? lol that's way better than what the car would do brand new! Do you put in a magic spell in the gas tank every time you refill?

I have 378,195km right now... which is about 235,000 miles... 65,000 miles to go and going... i'll be adding more during the winter because i'm going to be coming back and forward between Yuma AZ and Salinas CA 1000 miles every two to three weeks between November 07 and March 08...

Problems: Missing 1 tranny mount... everything else is solid just need to give it a nice polish and wax then find the rattles... but with 1,000 watt rms Audiobahns in the back (two 12's) are not helping...

MPG... i don't even track that no more... i'm sure i'm not getting near what you guys get... but i don't care, i love this car...

Cory--if it takes you 2 years to get to 300k miles, I'll beat you for sure. Not that I really want to.... But I am driving about 90 miles round trip 4-5 days/week, so the miles roll up pretty quickly!

I have 188k. I had smoke coming out the back, mechanic said to use marvel mystery oil both in engine and gas tank. So far, it has reduced my engine smoke and my gas mileage has increase from 24mpg to around 26mpg.

Yeah, I got up to 30 mpg with my old Toyo 800's. I'm at around 28 mpg with the Toyo Tourevos I have on it now. They're much quieter though.

My 98 3.2 is at 246k miles. Will probably get there sometime in 2008. Here are the items we have had fixed over the years: 2 starters replaced, 2 inner CV joints replaced, 3 O2 sensors replaced, one wheel speed pickup replaced, had manifold cleaned out due to "insufficient EGR flow" MIL, major tranny failure at 150k miles--hard decision but replaced the tranny & has been good since then. We have had routine wearout stuff replaced of course--2 timing belts +water pump, brake pads, etc. Had all belts replaced at second timing belt replacement. I change oil every 5k miles & tranny fluid every 30k. Planning to keep it another 2-3 years, hopefully.

I was putting down 1000+ miles a week commuting from San Jose to Oakland to San Francisco back to San Jose everyday... It sucked how much gas I was using...
