Hey anyone, I got a 97 3.2tl and am trying to put on gutter guard. are the 1996 grilles different from the 1997. The blades on my grille stick out. Am I gonna have to cut them down?

 

i think a couple of people have done it without cutting them , i have a 2.5 soo ... a thing you could do is cut them out and then just put the grill on , just a thought

 

I have a 96 3.2tl and i think you do have to cut down the vertical slits. Looks like it could be possible

 

F#ck it, I spent 2 hours trying to fit it over the blades. It worked, but just didnt lok right since it curved over the blades.

I would have cut them down, but I wanna resell in 3-4 years and get some $$ towards my next tl. I am now working on getting a custom billit grille made at a local place. I will post with price and a pic when it is done.
