From what I think, coilovers are way more expensive, but are adjustable and perform quite a bit better...but if your car is just a daily driver, I would think springs would be good enough, as long as you have some nice tires/rims. But I dont know a lot about suspension, I'd like to see someone clear this up for me too

for how bouncy a ride is thats based upon spring rates. i dont know much on the sprint springs but i know ground control coilovers you can order a custom spring rate and choose how you like it. ground control coilovers also use eibach springs so thats an added bonus

compliment the gc with adjustable struts and you'll be okay. you can go with koni yellows or kyb's.

i didnt even know sprint makes springs for our cars?

why does the less drop cost more than the more lower drop?

the years "95-99" is enough for me to not buy any parts from them :sqnteek:

There are two kinds of coil-overs....TRUE coil-overs are a spring/shock replacement with the coil around the shock. There are also the type of coilovers that just replace the spring and have a collar to allow for adjustments. (ie Ground Control). These work well, but if you go too low, you'll blow out your original shocks wuite quickly and have to replace them anyways. You can always get the G.C. coil-overs then add a regular performance aftermarket shock after the other ones blow.

as cornflake has stated there are two types of coilovers. but ground control is the best coilover of its type. the other ones made this way just plain suck for the ride

For that setup, you need to make a decent investment though dont you? If I remember correctly, upwards of 1,000 bucks...where just a set of nice springs will cost about 300 shipped...and with tires and rims should do the trick...or am I way off (which I fully admit, could be the case).

well true coilovers will cost upwards of 1000...this isnt a true coilover setup but it's as close as you can get to it. you can get ground controls made to fit certain shocks like koni yellow's so that it's setup just like a true coilover but for less...the only downside is these can only be used with koni's so when it's time to get shock replacements you gotta shell out for koni's
