Hello everyone. My stepdaughter just bought a 1996 3.2TL with 160k miles for a steal... $1100! It's in great condition, minus a few problems, but I'm searching those up before making any posts. The car was well maintained though, and the engine bay looks pristine. Previous owners even kept most of the maintenance records. Last timing belt replacement was 140,000 miles, which was a huge relief.
This is our family's second Honda- I bought a 2011 Accord Coupe V6 6-speed in May 2011, and I am still madly in love with it.
One day I hope to pick up a 2003 CL-S 6-speed for a project/weekend car, but that's likely far down the road.
I didn't see any introductions thread (even did a search) so I figured I'd post in the forum I'm most likely to frequent.
Anyway, see ya 'round!

She has the ABS light (fluid in the reservoir is low and it buzzes on startup), the accompanying TCS light, and the dreaded P0401 CEL. I'm going to attempt to DIY fix those myself later this summer.
Has anyone had any luck getting the P0401 fixed under good faith once they passed 150k miles? It's a long shot, but I guess the worst the dealership can say is no...?
Also, would seafoam do any good with the P0401? From pix I have seen, there is a LOT of carbon gunk built up in these engines after a while.
