Angry Got beat by a GS300

Damn got beat by a car length from dead stop to 80. I guess that little bit of power did me in. I also had a 200+ lbs passenger and he was by himself. Oh well, you win some and then you loose some.

yeah don't worry about it, there's a reason they paid thousands of dollars more than us. i don't even think we're in the same catagory. i remember i tried to race an SC400 once. haha can we say that was a futile attempt?

WOW

This is crazy. Lastnight I raced a GS300 in my TL. It was around 3 am in the morning on the freeway. I saw him coming from a distance because of the lights. So before he gets too close I stepped on it. And I swear we were nose and nose. I know his car is faster. But my TL kept up good. There was one time where he got away from me pretty good. We kept average speed of about 90 MPH and at one point reached 120 MPH, lol, it was so fun though. But worst time to race on the freeway because of cops. But it felt good that I was able to keep up you know. I have the 2.5 TL 96. I have an 89 accord that if I had been in, would have got blown away.

Actually the GS300 has a I-6 (The supra Normally Aspirated Engine) Producing roughly 225 hp.

The GS400 has a V-6 Producing Roughly 300 hp.

My friends ex had a GS300 with all the trimmings and spanked me a few times when we raced. If you ever drove in a GS300 or 400 you will realize it has one of the best Automatic Transmission you have ever experienced. You do not feel the car shift whatsoever, it hard to believe, but you dont feel it at all the car is in constant pull from 1st thru 4th. They say its one of the best shifting automatics in the world, and after being in one I can attest to that.
