any one wanna know how to increase air flow into your engine?
96 to 98 have a white box connected to your stock air filter. that white box collects dirt leaves what ever that might get in your filter.
what you have to do is take off the pan under the car that is under your bumper theres plastic locks holding it up and take off the locks in the right front fender. unscrew the bolts if there are anyt connected to the filter and to the chassis. this will not hurt the engine at all!!!! if anyquestions just leave a post?

S/S: stainless steel, to be exact, 316 2.75" inside dia.
CAI: cold air intake, i don't really have a definition, but i guess when the intake draws directly from the atmosphere..maybe
i will post pics as soon as i get my dig. Mav back from sony..been in warranty center for almost 4 mos now.
simply remove everything. airbox, filter, and the plastic tank-thing from under the bumper. have the welder extend the pipe from the throttle body, and make it go through the hole that the airbox once covered. attach the cone filter under the bumper. keep in mind that you need to incorporate the mass airflow sensor into the new pipe.....hope this helps...aloha...
