Yo yo hey hey every body.. well i was doing the H3 bulbs conv. to work with our H3c conections.. [ i took pic and will post a step by step with pic. DIY later if anyone needs it] and got it to work yellow fogs and all and i was very happy but then OH NOO
i wanted to try to do the Fog ON with out having your mainhead lights on and i don Fuge up. i knew i should have came back up to read which wire to connect.. but i didn n connected the RED/SliverDots to Blue/SilverDots and now i have no fogs.. .. checked the fues, unconnected the 2 wire .. no fogs checked the bulbs still good.. not blown soo HELP!!! imm go back down n check around again .. so help me out!

 

and ive read the rewire fogslights thread n one say its the red/siliverdots to blue/sliverdots.. and another post below it say blue and red/sil.dots can some one tell me which one is the rights one to connect together? cuz i was juss down n under and theres are soooooo many red and blue with diff 2nd.ery colors to them help

 

Read my directions that i posted. if you have a 3.2 the wires are colored differently. i think i clarified that in my directions. if not, ill change it. also make sure that the splice acutally cut the insulation on the wires. if it didnt you wont have a good connection, and they probably wont turn on.

snap crack and pop, i unspliced [iono] the wires hoping things would juss be back to normal,.... my SRS light is on, no break light, and no foglight at all, no blown fues.. no blown bulbs.. ive dug down to far and i cant get out...

 

da bump, now my D4 light is flashing lol im going crazy!! ahh

 

thats why anytime any electrical work is done.. u should have a meter and test the wires first... okay what u need to do is tackle on thing at a time...

disconnect both of your battery terminals and reset the car first... negative off first then positive... hold both of the terminals together for a minute... then put back on the car... now see if your SRS light is still on.. i have the feeling u took a wire from the airbag loom... did u take wires from a bundle that was wrapped in yellow.... if it isn't off, then u have to go to acura and have them reset.. u prob shorted an airbag wire...

if u have a meter, i would go and test to see if any juice is going to your brake light... then diagnose from there...

if your D4 light is flashing, it usually mean something with the transmission...

thanks now atleast i know where to start .. so i dont juss hack my car trying to fix it only making it worst.. yeah i felt like a bomb squad guy hoping not to set off the airbag.. i knew it too on the back of my head dont do it dont do it.. its ganna blow! im sucha an idiot.. hah
BTW it was not the wires within the yellow wrap...
FYI i know D4 flasing means its a tranny thing but i wasnt even moving! hah im so confused.. cuz as soo as i fuged up and had nofogs, no breaks and SRS i didnt even move the car since.. then i start the car later and the D4 light juss start going off .. i was freakin..

but thanks and i will update as soon as i can its late and cold and yeah n budaaa im so pissed at myself..

 

D4 flashing means transmission concerns. And yes, you have to watch those wires. Under the hood it will tell you what color wires are SRS related and those are the ones you DON'T MESS WITH.

 

well i juss went down to reset the car like you said KaMLuNg, but no luck the SRS light is still on.. D4 light is now gone... couldnt test the brakelights..will do so tomorrow and update you guys thanks for helping if anyone has an idea/help to add i will deff app. huy not good not good lol

yeah then that means u need to take it to a dealer and let them reset the SRS... at least your tranny is reset...

^ thanks you guys... update everything is back to normal BUt the SRS light.. thanks to my lil brother actualy we worked on it for hours and now its all good exc. for the SRS hah so yeah .. i will try it Meazz1, if that dont work my older brother will take it in to his shop and try if not that to the stealerships i will go thanks all that help.. i will update later if needs be...

EDIT:BTW to let you know what i meant by its all normal is that my fogslight is back and also my breaklights.. so yep thats all good jus that SRS light

 

if u don't have the service connector... use a paperclip.. all you are doing is shorting the term out to reset... same thing u did with your battery terms

Hey everybody!

Ok after a day of brainstorming, my younger brother and I was able to come up with a solution [or should i say my younger brother did] and he got the fogs lights to work the way that i wanted them too.

[FYI; For them to come on/be on by themself..]




Juss fogs / with camera flash


juss fog / iono y the pass.side is brighter, but its not noticeable to the eye.. might have been juss the angle i held the camera..

and i also replaces the bulbs with RED LEDS in the courtesy door lights







^ tell me that isnt the most ghetto' half ass paper and tape things you have ever seen but it works ive slam the door [not hard, but harder then i normaly would close my own doors] and they still work and shine when i open the door..

you might ask y red, well juss take a look at my pjs pants, hah but y not red its not like i really need them lights to see where i put my legs, and when i do replaces the interior dome lights, i will use 4 white leds..
