flame first then help
ok so today was great made a quick run in the blazin hot sun to the store then when i got home it started to rain so i spent the whole day relaxin inside...went to throw out the trash at around 11 pm and saw somethin that made my heart stop.....my drivers side window was open. anyway switched out the car that was in the garage with mine and went to work on it, sucked out bout half a gallon if not more wit a wet dry vac and then blow dryed for a bit. so did this ever happen to anyone? wat do u suggest i do? can a detail place do anythin in this case? is the car gonna smell like mold now? and most importantly is there a way to totaly remove the drivers seat....ok im gonna go cry a bit more now

OMG, WHAT A DUMBASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jk
Luckily your seats are leather, or are they clothed?? You wont have any mold if you let it air dry or if its still raining, try using a hair dryer to dry your (removeable) rug. As far as the carpet on the floor, i guess keep your window down and let it dry or i guess dry it with the hairdryer. OR, if its still wet go out and buy carpet cleaner and shampoo it while its wet..?

hahaha gotta say reading all ur stupid rambling cheered me up haha j.k anyway i got out as much water as i could but then i guess my vaccum was real crap so i could still hear sqiushy sounds when i pushed the carpet. so i went to a deatailing place today and told them wat happened he said they can take car of it no prob. they took like 2 n a half hours just to do the inside and i watched them do most of it so gotta say they did great job. also he said if it smells to jus bring it back...not sure wat theyd do then but.. w.e well hoping everythin will be kewl now but ill jus have to see wat happens. so learn from my mistake guys !

Well, like 03coupev6 said...if your electronics are fine and you sucked up most of the water, you should be ok. I have done this before, and just let the car air dry after getting the water up. You might want to spray something that will prevent the mold, although as long as your car isn't sitting in a sauna you should be ok. I know it is humid in the Philly area now, but it will go away in a day or so. Just keep it out of the dark damp places and maybe spray some febreeze if it starts to smell..

too bad u don't have a dehumidifier.. i have a big one to keep the moisture out of my basement.. i did that once with my fathers car.. i just left it overnight in the garage with the driver door open and the dehumidifier next to it.. sucked out all the moisture in 2 days.. and it didn't stink either...

<~~~~~~~~~~~~ Baby is always garaged...
But with everyone else... on:
> If you sucked up all the water out... you'll be fine...
> get some airfreshners
> Clean under carpet... or you might need a new one later...
